Eveo Communication Group, Inc. (ECG) is a leading provider of digital/interactive marketing solutions for the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, and Medical Equipment industries.

We are currently looking for an exceptionally talented Front End Flash Developer with extensive Flash and AS3 experience, and a solid sense of motion and design.

The animator will lead, train, and act as mentor for a team of junior flash designers in transforming established art direction into richly animated interactive experiences. The animator will act as liaison to the engineering department in developing Flash and AS3 best-practices for coding animation, integrating Flash assets with Flex, managing files and libraries across multiple projects, and keeping abreast of new technologies for creating striking, functional user experiences.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Qualified candidates will have 3+ years of agency experience and formal design training with interactive design skills, and advanced knowledge of the latest versions of Flash, AS3, and related libraries. Motion graphics and 3D animation experience are a huge plus, as are experience with Photoshop and Illustrator.

Position Summary

• Minimum of three years software quality engineering experience, ideally with software tools, of which minimum of two year of white box QE experience.

• Hands on knowledge of at least one of the following languages: Java, Flex [Actionscript/MXML]

• Hands on knowledge of at least one of the following: Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Flash Pro

• Experience designing, creating, and producing real-world web sites/applications using Flex or Flash.

• Desire to be part of a highly productive, fast-paced team. Genuine enjoyment of QE work.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Organized and self-driven.

Nice to have :

• Experience with JUnit or other Java/Flex test frameworks, developer IDE [e.g.Flex Builder]

• Experience with UI automation technologies. E.g. Silkrunner, Mercury QuickTestPro, Test works etc.

• Exposure to test automation tools, framework/harness, scripting

Senior Flash Designer (Bellevue)

Do you have a fresh, modern approach to design? Are you a natural leader with innate creative talent? FILTER has a contract-to-hire opportunity for a Senior Flash Designer. This position is with a well-known online travel company located in Bellevue.

This role will work with the creative team to produce visual design solutions for various rich media design projects. It’s important that the Senior Flash Designer have the ability to think long-term and to build flexible assets.

We’re looking for someone who has previous led a team or project and has a combination of both corporate and agency-side experience. In order to land this gig, you must have senior-level ActionScript 2 and 3 skills, the ability to multitask, prioritize and work with multiple stakeholders and to work within style and brand guidelines.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Working with the creative team to produce visual design solutions for various rich media design projects; Leading large and complex projects
• Leading brainstorming and concepting sessions
• Collaborating with business partners, copywriters and the interaction and technical teams to identify solutions that meet project objectives, define scope and give level of effort estimates
• Supporting the various lines of business with Flash integration within their existing project roadmaps
• Ensuring visual design works in the web environment
• Presenting creative to stakeholders, clients and executives

SKILLS YOU’LL NEED

• 5-7 years of experience working with Web advertising
• Expert-level Flash and ActionScripting abilities required
• Proven experience working with technical production and Flash development teams
• Tremendous understanding of online advertising and rich media best practices
• Solid knowledge of the interactive design process, from requirements gathering to interaction design to visual design to development and production
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, web design principles, color theory, typography
• Effective communication skills, excellent attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
