The New York Post is seeking a Full Timem, Temporary, Interactive Flash Designer/Developer. This position will work closely with the interactive team to implement Flash based online ads, games and microsites. The designer/developer will work with a team of designers, project managers, and sales staff under strict deadlines specific to each project. You must be able to work efficiently and effectively without close supervision and be able to communicate ideas with various team members to solicit feedback and ensure support.

3+ years of experience working with the elements of online advertising including Flash banners, microsites, games and landing pages. Must be proficient in MAC OS X, Windows XP, Adobe Fireworks, Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Flash, HTML, CSS, XHTML, JavaScript and XML. Actionscript 2/3 with expert knowledge in the capabilities and limitations of Flash. HTML5 understanding is a plus.

Experience working with Rich Media platforms as well as experience using third party APIs such as Facebook and Twitter.

- Developing and unit testing of Flash based Internet applications and games, utilizing object oriented ActionScript 3.0.
